51 Day Captain's Choice

The North Florida Swordfish Challenge runs June 11 through July 31, 2026 off the North Florida Atlantic coast. Each registered boat fishes 2 periods of their choosing during the 51-day window. Boats fish on their own weather, on their own strategy, against the same scale.

Boundaries

29°25'N – 30°55'N · Atlantic only

In-bound hookup with out-of-bound drift requires continuous video.

Periods

Day 8a–7p · Night 8p–7a

Each boat declares 2 periods total. Back-to-back day+night allowed if declared in advance.

Captain's Meeting

June 2, 7:00 p.m.

NEFMA Clubhouse, 3030 Harbor Dr, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Mandatory walk-through of rules, boundaries, declaration protocol, and weigh-in stations. Captain's bags distributed. Calcutta side-pot fees due in cash or check.

Weigh-In

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Default stations: Beamish Custom Tackle (St. Augustine) and Stellar Marine Services (Jacksonville). NEFMA Clubhouse is reserved for large fish that cannot be transported on land — ad-hoc by tournament direction.
